Is it possible to configure the emails?

for example, I want the Welcome Email to be sent after verification has been done. now both emails are sent together when a user is signed up.

This is an excellent question. It's not configurable (yet), but I see what you mean and will take this up with the team. Tyler Bell We might want to make this default behavior 🤔

Can we send someone the emails from our own no-reply@domain.com?

Hey Shadi null which emails do you want to send?

In general, we don't recommend using no-reply addresses. Better to use a support email.

I would want to send the memberstack emails through my own domain instead of the no-reply@memberstack.io one.

I have a support@firmpavilion.com and a hello@firmpavilion.com email, though I would prefer to send the emails from the hello@ email

    Shadi null got it 👍

Yes. We can manually change the "from" email for you. Please fill out this form to kick off the email verification process.

Is changing the display-name when an email is sent to a customer/user possible? At the moment I believe it just uses the local-part which isn't ideal in my case.

Not yet, but we do have designs for it. I'll see if we can work this in while we are changing email providers.

That would be great Duncan! When do you reckon the change over will happen?

We are working on it now, but it's really hard to say. If I were you, I would NOT expect this feature to be added. We will do our best, but it's safest for you to expect it to not happen. We might run into an unexpected blocker that forces us to shelf the project, and I'd hate to leave you hanging.

Understood! Would you recommend that I just don't use your built-in email services to get around this? I ask as the email currently going out just shows my name as a sender instead of the business which looks unprofessional and a bit scammy to the receiver. If there is another solution I'm all ears 🙏🏽

Oooo I'm so glad you explained! I actually misunderstood your question.

We can change the from name manually on the backend. https://docs.memberstack.com/hc/en-us/articles/11193994555547-Custom-Email-Sender-Address-Feature#h_01J90GXF5JCZ5SXP1AAW0R9PYQ

For the emails that are sent. Can I provide a name instead of the from email address showing?

Josh Lopez How are we handling "From:" names with Resend?

    Hello Mohit Shah

You can indeed change the from name. We currently have a long term solution that will allow customers to change it from the dashboard. Until that is released we need to do it manually. Please reach out to the support team so they can get your app id and what from name you would like to use.

Hi, how would this work in terms of having a blog and pushing out notifications via MailChimp or similar, is there a way to have it centralized?

Hey Aron 👋 If I were managing a site like that I would setup a newsletter which is manually sent.  Or automatically sent when a new blog is published.

Depending on how customized/automated you want it to be you could populate the emails with data from Webflow using Make.com or Zapier.

i would love to see a centralized blog/forum solution massively underserved in the webflow community

Agreed! We are working on a forum template now. It'll demonstrate what's possible today, and then we'll see what can be done to expand from there 🤞
