How to Pause Your Admin Subscription in Memberstack

If you need to temporarily pause your admin subscription in Memberstack, you can utilize the Pause Subscription feature. This allows you to suspend billing and prevent new members from joining, without fully canceling your subscription.

1) Steps to Pause Your Subscription

  1. Log in to your Memberstack account as an admin. 
  2. Go to the Billing page.
  3. Click the Cancel Subscription button.

4 You’ll see an option to Pause Subscription. Click it.

5. Select the duration for the pause (up to 3 months).

6. Confirm the pause.

Note: The maximum pause duration is 3 months. After this period, you can pause again if needed. While paused, no new members will be able to join in live mode.

2) Resuming Your Subscription

To unpause a subscription:

  1. Go to your Stripe account page.
  2. Click the ellipsis (three dots) and select Resume payment collection.
  3. Click Resume on the popup window. The subscription is now active.

3) Things to Keep in Mind

  • Maximum Pause Duration: 3 months per pause.
  • Billing: No charges will occur during the pause period.
  • Member Access: Existing members will still have access to your site.
  • Pausing Again: Once the 3 months end, you can pause again if needed.

Pausing your subscription is a great way to manage costs or temporarily stop growth while keeping your existing data and members intact.
