In this article, you will find a step-by-step video showing how to allow your members to log into a Circle.so community without needing to create a new account. Members who are already signed in on your website can also enter your Circle community without logging in a second time.
Below the video you will find a few important links mentioned in the video.
Note: This video was recorded before the seamless login update. To skip the second login for members already on your site, see "Skip the Second Login" below.

If you tell Memberstack where your signup page is on the settings page, we will automatically include the signup link on your login page.

Skip the Second Login
If a member is already signed in on your website, you can send them straight into your Circle community without logging in a second time.
To turn it on:
- In Memberstack, go to Authentication > Custom SSO (https://app.memberstack.com/apps/auth/sso).
- Edit your Circle integration.
- Turn on "Skip login for members already signed in on your site". (This also automatically enables "Skip the authorization screen" so members experience zero prompts.)
- Confirm your website URL under "Any page on your site that loads Memberstack". Memberstack suggests your domain automatically; your homepage works as long as it loads Memberstack.
- Save.
This setting is off by default. Once enabled, Memberstack checks whether a member has an active session on your site and passes them straight into Circle. Members who are not signed in will see your regular Memberstack login page.
Add a Signup Link to your SSO Login Page
This article and quick video (https://docs.memberstack.com/hc/en-us/articles/12712743062427) will show you how it works.
FAQ:
Q. When members log in to my website, do they need to log in again with Circle?
A: No, as long as you enable "Skip login for members already signed in on your site".
With that setting turned on, members who are already logged in to your website will enter Circle automatically with no secondary prompt. If the setting is left off, members will still see the Memberstack login page when entering your Circle community.

This is a bummer that people can't be auto-logged in to the circle website using the memberstack sso. This is a HUGE feature request for us.
Here is an updated video on connecting circle and Memberstack if you are having trouble connecting the two

Is this still the same situation with users needing to Log-in twice?
TAYLOR DAVIDSON, afraid so. Tyler Bell and I have not been able to find a solution to the double login issue yet.
Okay thank you Duncan
+1 for the double login request.
Also, in the current integration, the user gets taken to auth.memberstack.com with a login form that mentions 'Secured by Memberstack'. It would be great even if there was a way to remove the reference to Memberstack (it is confusing for customers) and also to have the auth.memberstack.com not show in the URL.
Hey Jonathan Crick 👋
Thank you for posting. The 'Secured by Memberstack' should be removed for paid Memberstack subscriptions. When you are ready to go live it should be hidden, if it doesn't get removed please create a support ticket and we will fix it!
+1 on the double login request.
Please bring an update to this feature, double login for the user is not a very great experience to have. Is there any way that you can pass the user token to circle, in that case the user won't have to login again.
Note: Please don't consider the no. of comment on this post as signal for prioritisation, I am sure lot of user needs this, only makes the comment.
Just adding a +1 on the double login request!
Hey future readers,
The double login issue has now been solved 🎉
Now you can toggle the 'Skip login for members who are already signed in on your site' in your respective Custom SSO integration in Memberstack dashboard and users won't be asked to login again.
Hope this helps.
