Memberstack places a strong emphasis on data privacy and security. By not retaining backups of deleted member information, we ensure compliance with GDPR and avoid storing sensitive data beyond its intended purpose. This approach also gives you, as the admin, complete control over your data lifecycle, enhancing both transparency and compliance.

How can I prevent accidental deletions?

Here are some best practices to help you avoid deleting important member data by mistake:

  1. Double-Check Before Deleting
Always verify that you selected the correct member(s) before finalizing any deletion.

  2. Regularly Export Your Data
Use the Memberstack export feature to periodically download member data. This allows you to maintain your own backups and easily restore member information if needed.

  3. Implement Clear Internal Processes
If you have a team, consider establishing a review or approval step before anyone can delete member data. This ensures multiple eyes are on the process and helps catch mistakes.
