How to configure Memberstack 2.0 fields and domains on Squarespace when tabs won't show up?
Hey all! đ
I am new to Memberstack & trying to set up a simple email wall on Squarespace using Memberstack 2.0âcollecting first/last name and email, then sending a magic link for gated access.
But something weirdâs happening:
- Canât see the âFieldsâ tab in my plan editor (so I canât customize the modal fields or remove password).
- No âApplication Domainsâ section in the dashboard, so my site is stuck in test modeâthe âtestâ badge never goes away, and nothing works live even after publishing and script setup.
- Support says these features should be there with my paid plan, but theyâre just not showing up.
Before I pester tech support more, has anyone run into missing tabs/features like this?
Any tricks to get the Fields tab or domain settings to (finally) show up in 2.0? Or did I just break Memberstack? đ
Thanks in advance!

Hey mitch berke,
I am not sure what you mean by the first point, do you mean the custom fields in Memberstack dashboard or the fields shown in Pre-built UI modals? If you could explain or show a screenshot / screen recording of the issue, it will help in troubleshooting.
Regarding the 'Application Domain' setting, here's a quick loom video to see if this solution does the trick for you.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the quick reply! AJ
The Webflow default did the trick to set the domain.
To clarify:
I just saw this note that says Memberstack no longer supports squarespace.
Hey mitch berke,
The settings that you see in the Plan editor is the standard settings that we get via Memberstack. Can you share the link of the docs where it's mentioned 'Fields' settings in the Plan editor? It might be an error in the docs or I might have missed something.
But in case you want to allow passwordless login / signup, you can do so by setting up the forms as per this guide.
And regarding Squarespace, I believe if you are able to install Memberstack via custom script, set attributes etc. Memberstack should work for you. Memberstack supports Stripe as the payment processor, so in case you want to use any other payment plaform, you can setup an automation via Make / Zapier to connect such purchase events to Memberstack and assign free plans after the purchase is made. Let me know if you have any specific use-case in mind that is not working currently.
Hope this gives you some idea.
