How to fix Webflow CMS not creating new members in Memberstack during user registration?
Hey! I stumbled on some issues with login/creating profiles. I can create a new user on site, but it doesnt create a new CMS on live site, it only changes my pre-made member in Webflow, and does not create a new member in on memberstack.
Would appreciate any kind of help!

Hey Hampus Corneliusson, I was testing signup on the site and it seems to create a new member on Memberstack. Can you not see it in the Memberstack dashboard while the Test mode is toggled on?
And regarding the CMS being updated on an existing member, can you double-check the workflow in Make that is handling this and see if you can find something missing there?
I've just checked your Memberstack dashboard and can confirm the signups are coming through to Memberstack.
The challenge you're facing with the CMS should be from Make, possibly, it's still using the default connections/parameters that come with the template, which you may have to modify to suit yours.
hm, i think i missed that bit!
Thank you 🙂 for great support!
okay, so what i managed is to set up Make. On site when creating new profile, all profiles is named after me. I also noticed that in my "Make Dashboard" I need to choose name, it wasn't in the tutorial, right? Maybe its here it gets confused
Hey Hampus Corneliusson,
Hope this helps.
thank you!
Hampus Corneliusson, okay can you do the following and test it?
You should ideally now be able to see full-name as an option to fetch in the second screenshot. Hope this helps.
I did what you said! and changed it to "Watch Updated Members'" but did not fetch any "full-name" sadly
Okay, just to double-check, did you run the module once as mentioned above and then update the member in the dashboard?
If yes, and it didn't give you any result, can you check if the connection you are using in Memberstack module is the one that you created for your memberstack app?
If not, could you create a new connection and connect it with Memberstack as mentioned in this guide?
You can even try a reset. You can follow the guide and let me know if you still face issues.
After connecting your Memberstack app to Make, you could try screen recording of the steps we discussed of running the module, updating the member etc., if you don't get any result. That will help in troubleshooting what the issue might be.
okay, so i re-made the connection and I found the "full-name" now. Now nothing updates on the live site though, but i got this error message, I edited the "CMS ID" manually in memberstack but it didnt fetch it?
Have you added the relevant CMS ID from webflow collection to the Memberstack field? If yes, could you update it and run the first module again to see if it picks that up?
i think so! check here: https://www.loom.com/share/1ccddb9f985b43f495f9ddae6b794c64?sid=012c6710-3cc9-4102-be49-1c7de970fb1c
i found this though, that the cms ID in memberstack is not visible by default?
Hampus Corneliusson, the CMS ID that you need to pass is not the 01 text that you have filled in the item. Instead if you go to the webflow collection item, at the very bottom you will see something called 'Item ID' under the Item Details section.
You need to copy paste that ID and paste it into the Memberstack dashboard CMS ID field. Can you test this out and share what result you get?
Of course haha, brain-error
Now, the connection works! However, new profiles doesnt update. it says its queued?
should i turn this on?
Great, you can turn the scenario active in Make workflow and it should work.
If you want old data to go through, you can select Process old data. I would suggest you delete the old data and switch it on. Try updating a member in the dashboard and observe the results.
Yes, that's the toggle you want on.
