Stripe doesn’t allow their checkout to be embedded into sites for security reasons. This means there is no way to use the stripe checkout as an embed or as a modal.
Memberstack 1.0 was using a feature called Stripe Elements. The feature still exists, but it's been deprecated. We made the decision to leave Stripe Elements for Stripe checkout to reduce complexity, add functionality, and allow us to focus our resources on building around Stripe.
Hi, I am revisiting this topic as I believe since this thread was last active that Stripe has now enabled embedded checkout forms via Stripe Checkout. Has anyone tried this, or do you know of any reason this shouldn't work? (https://docs.stripe.com/checkout/embedded/quickstart)
Thank you for posting. Memberstack does not currently support this feature. I have added this link to our wishlist though and will post this in our internal slack so everyone will be aware. Our current dev roadmap is pretty full at the moment so I dont know if/when this would be added.
