Hey all! just had a quick question. We want to set up a coming soon function that when a logged-in user clicks ‘notify me’ it’ll automatically add them to a Mailchimp mailing list with the email from their account.

I initially thought zapier but I can’t seem to figure out a way to trigger it by simply clicking on a link. Any ideas?

What if you made a form with a hidden email field that is pre-populated with their email and style the submit button to look like a link?

Another solution if you’re still on the lookout is to…
1. Log into Mailchimp
2. Copy the HTML code for one of their simple mail signup forms & paste it into your site.
3. Change the email input to type="hidden" and add the data-ms-member="email" attribute.
4. Test 🤞
I haven’t tested it, but this should have a similar effect without needing Zapier in the middle 🎉
