How can I downgrade a Webflow e-commerce plan when migrating to Memberstack? Answered

Hello, 😄

I need some clarification regarding the migration of Webflow accounts to Memberstack.

I have a client who has an annual Webflow e-commerce plan for their website, costing £348. Will I be able to downgrade the e-commerce plan to a standard CMS plan?
Given that the account space is managed on Memberstack? Or does the payment gateway remain on Webflow?

Also, does Memberstack offer migration support like Outseta? Or do we have to take care of it ourselves with the DIY guide?

Thanks so much for any help you can provide 🙂

Happy new year Hugo El Yamani,

Memberstack integrates with Stripe to provide the payment processor for carrying out subscription purchases / any use-case that your site has. So, I believe you would not need E-commerce plan if the payment gateway is the only thing you need it for. It is safe to compare the Webflow plans and see what are the use-cases that your project needs and only then downgrade accordingly to not lose on any features that comes with the plans that your project might need.

Memberstack will handle all the member management, gating access, user authentication, since it integrates with Stripe natively - the purchase made by users on the site is also handled via Stripe.

Here's a migration article that might come handy during the process along with the DIY guide and 50% off for 6 months that you can find it here. You can reach out to support via the bottom right button on your Memberstack dashboard and the support team would be happy to help you if face any blockers as well.

Hope this gives you some idea.
