How to create a fixed-duration subscription in Memberstack that ends after specific number of months with Stripe?

Hi there,

I'm new to Memberstack, so apologies if this has already been asked.

I have an important question:
Is it possible to set up a subscription with a fixed duration — for example, €111/month for 3 months only?
This is a key need for my project, and I was hoping it would be possible.
If so, could someone guide me on how to set it up?
Also, is it possible to offer payment in instalments?

    Hey Siwawa Caribbean, welcome to the community.

    • I believe currently there is not a straightforward way to achieve the fixed duration for a recurring plan. You can however setup a recurring paid plan on Memberstack and have an automation via Make / Zapier to cancel the subscription for users during the 3rd month (if cancellation is set to be effective at the end of the period in Stripe settings). You can explore Stripe API docs for further info on this as well.
    • While creating a price, you have the option to select the frequency of payment collection of the plan like every 1 month or 2 month or year or weeks etc. (as shown in screenshot). So, you can handle the frequency of payment in that case but it would also mean that if a user cancels before the next payment date, they won't need to pay the remaining amount (if its a whole package price that you are trying to break into instalments).
