How to identify and resolve rate limiting issues possibly caused by a loop or traffic spike?
hi all! Im trying to get into our app but got an error that we're being rate limited?
The rate limits are high for sites so I am surprised, unless something got stuck in a loop...
im checking with the dev team if anything they did could have triggered it - we have thousands of students launch in the next couple of weeks so want to make sure this is resilient 🙏
ok it let me in then after a while i'm seeing it again
it goes away quickly but im wonderinf if you can see whats causing it? and if there's a way to hve a better error message so the user knows what to do (ie wait a couple of seconds, refresh and try again)

Hi Maria, I just tried google on your site and did not get that message.
Yeah I was super surprised as well!
I just confirmed that for whatever reason, your request was rate limited, but the global rate limiter for clayful was not triggered. In other words, your specific request was limited but no one else on your site was affected. That would be something I'd be able to see.
