How to restrict supplier access and customize product filters in Memberstack while hiding purchase options?

This is basically what i need summed up by AI You’re considering switching to Memberstack to build a client website used by suppliers and want to confirm whether you can (1) restrict access so only supplier accounts created by the client—or accounts approved manually—can log in (preventing public signups), (2) create and fully style product filters (buttons, layouts, etc.), and (3) hide checkout/cart/buy buttons until purchasing is implemented later."

    Hi Filippo,

Thanks for reaching out and for considering Memberstack for your client project! I’ll go through your three questions one by one:

    1. Restricting access / preventing public signups
Yes, you can prevent public signups. You can either:

    • Create supplier accounts directly in your Memberstack dashboard, or

    • Require signups to be approved manually before the account is active.
This way only the accounts you or your client set up will be able to log in.

    1. Product filters with custom styling
Memberstack doesn’t provide built-in product filtering. However, you can use your site builder (e.g. Webflow, custom code, etc.) to design and style filters however you’d like. Memberstack will handle the access control, while your site builder controls the layout and design of the product filters.

    2. Hiding checkout/cart/buy buttons until later
Yes, you can absolutely hide or disable those elements until you’re ready to launch purchasing. Many builders let you conditionally display or hide elements based on Memberstack data, so you’ll have full control over when those buttons appear.

    I hope this helps.
