Advanced Job Board
I love a job board!! I know what your thinking, but have been in recruitment and recruitment marketing for about 5 years now. I also have 10 years with Webflow a bit of JS and built with MS, Make, Zapier, Airtable etc
So when I saw the NEW Advanced Job Board I thought I would check it out.
Just little bit of feedback on it.
- The portfolio bit it only good if you are a freelance, designer or website builder, no one else is likely to have a website. Its cool but not worth the effort.
- Things like a linkedIn profile and Covering note for job applicants would be more valuable.
- Its a lot of elements in wized so the cost is $348 PA
- Its a cool template and its put together well but you need to follow the videos to the letter or you will get confused - It would be handy to have a content list in the notes with timelines of when certain parts are dealt with. Or name the videos for each part.
- It would be good to have a bit about reconnecting the airtable bases in Make and Wized as this can be a stumbling block as you may think they are connected (visually) but you likely need to go back in and set everything again in the scenarios or Wized. When reconnecting the Airtable Base in wized it sometimes loses the code for filters which means you need to pause the video at the right spot to check the code is correct.
- I don't now is MS is meant to import the plans or not. It never has for me. It does do the custom Fields which is handy. EDIT: So when Magnaem says in the videos if you change the price ID's, you will need to change this ID, so would be good to have a list of where these are used
- In the applicant profiles section I think there is an error in the wized clone. Values for the appilcant_name element wouldn't display on the new applicant or applicant details page so I had to debug that bit. I think it should be: return r.Load_Recruiter_Applicants.data.records[v.i].fields.Name NOT return r.Load_Individual_Applicants.data.records[v.i].fields.Name . Its the only way I could get them to display on the page.
I would say I have been on this for a couple of few weeks, between the day job and working on other projects. I have a few other sections to do and the some customisations that I think will enhance it.
Its pretty tricky to build especially mapping the webhooks in Make and understanding the flow of data and scenarios, but the videos definitely help.

1–2. You’re totally right — the portfolio section is definitely more tailored toward freelancers or anyone who already has something to showcase publicly.
3. Adding a LinkedIn or cover letter option makes a lot of sense for a broader range of job seekers. Unfortunately, LinkedIn doesn’t offer embeddable profile previews (due to privacy and terms of service), but it’s something I’ll keep exploring for future updates.
4. For the videos — each one is focused on a single section, and I do mention at the beginning what will be covered.
5. I’ll make sure to include some additional info in the PDF guide that comes with the template on purchase — especially about reconnecting Make + Wized and what to watch for when Airtable filters get reset.
6. Thanks for pointing out the price ID confusion — that part can definitely trip people up. Right now, the Price IDs are used in a few key places: on the Candidate Pricing and Recruiter Pricing pages (on the buttons), and inside the page settings script on both the Recruiter Dashboard and the Create a Job page.

It sounds like you’ve made a ton of progress, especially considering everything else you’ve got going on. If you end up customizing parts or adding new features, I’d love to hear about them!

The LI link I just meant as a field not as an embed. As you say that wouldnt work.
Quick question there are these elements that are unbinded in wized. I assume they are ok to delete?
Those elements are all bound to the home page (see screenshot) under "All Jobs". You can also delete this section and then delete those elements.

Magnaem A quick question did you have issues with the airtable base disconnecting. Mine keeps disconnecting in wized and reverting back to the original demo base you created!!
