How to create a gym signup flow with Memberstack that requires medical waiver completion before payment processing?

Hi folks! I'm setting up my client's gym website with a Memberstack integration. They've got a medical history waiver/form that needs filled out during the sign up process. Seems like the best option here is a native Webflow form + Make.com scenario + Memberstack API that will push custom field data to the back end and use conditional logic to send the user to the payment page only after they've signed the waiver?

Anyone else set something like this up? I'm still a few weeks out from having the finished website done, but I was hoping to be able to setup Memberstack relatively quickly so they could start signing up new gym members before the site is completed. Would that be possible?

T.J. H Do you really need to store the medical history waiver/form data to Memberstack custom fields? I think you just need to have a custom field to check if they've completed the form or not.

And you can store the form data to Webflow cms, Airtable, or Google sheet or Memberstack if any.

Hi, thanks Huy, yeah I was just planning on having a true/false field for if they've completed the waiver, and maybe an addition true/false for the optional media release during the signup. We're still finalizing the actual waiver.

I think my biggest question is if I can get Memberstack + the waiver setup so they can start signing up new members ASAP even before the website is finished. Or maybe it's worth getting waiver/form setup first on their Webflow site prior to launching the rest of their site?

In my opinion, I will set up a Webflow onboarding flow first because it's not complicated and fast to setup up. I will have:

    • Webflow + Memberstack
    • Onboarding step 1: Basic infor (Name, Phone...)
    • Onboarding step 2: Medical history waiver/form -> Embed a Fillout or Tally form to get result. (Will replace Webflow form later)
