No access to account after upgrading from a a monthly subscription (SEPA direct debit) to an annual subscription

Some customers had a monthly subscription (SEPA direct debit) and upgraded to an annual subscription. The result is that they have no access to their account. The problem seems to only occur with the SEPA direct debit procedure. Does anybody have any idea what's going wrong or what needs to be configured to prevent this from happening?

    If you (or someone in the future) is experiencing this issues, can you please share screenshots of the member's plans in Memberstack and in Stripe? You can cut out their personal info. Does it show them as pending? Cancelled? Etc.
