How to automate course pricing and display purchased courses in a dashboard with Webflow and CMS collections? Answered
Hey guys!
Spend the whole day today searching for options and would really appreciate some help here. I'm using Webflow, Memberstack, Airtable and Make.com.
I have a website with hundereds of courses and I want to offer a subscription based pricing (monthly, early, lifetime). This part is quite easy in Memberstack, but I also want to offer the option to purchase one single course. The problem: I have hundereds of them and can't create a plan + price for each of the manually. Is there any way to automate this?
Also, how should I show the purchased courses in the dashboard? In the past a prepared a separate CMS collection just for the purchases and filtered based on the Member ID. It works, but it doesn't seem to be the most elegant solution.
Can you help me please?

Hi Ruben,
Unfortunately, there's no way to create new plans in batch, not from dashboard, and also no option using the API. That part has to be done manually. You might wanna hire an extra pair of hands to build it off quickly.
About building the dashboard, if you're showing the data in a members template (meaning you have a copy of members collection in your Webflow) it should be fine. But if you have available, as an object, in the dashboard page all your clients orders, that is a privacy concern. For example if you're have a generic page with all your orders as a collection list and you're using Finsweet filters is probably that data is available for anyone, even if is "hidden"
You should keep your data secured in a database, and only return to the user the data that belongs to them. You might wanna take a look at Wized + Xano, or Wized + Airtable. Wized is a drag and drop tool that works with Webflow that could help you fetch the data, and Xano or Airtable you can store your order data there.
