Why is the collected billing address in the checkout not submitted to stripe?

I activated "Enable Billing Address collection" in the stripe settings and when a user checks out the collection of the address is made correctly. Unfortunately the collected address is not visible in the members record in stripe. I need the address to display it in the invoice. Do I need to active taxes in stripe to make this work? Does Re-connecting the stripe account work - how can I do this?

    Martin Moser I have not seen this issue before! Have you tried reaching out to Stripe support about this?

    I think you maybe correct about the Stripe Taxes feature.

    Thanks for the reply. Actually I did not know that Stripe at checkout only saves the billing address for the individual payment, but it is not automatically linked to the Stripe customer. In order for the address to appear permanently in the payment receipts, it would have to be automatically assigned to the Stripe customer after the checkout.

    @Memberstack: Would it be possible to make that copy option available in the settings? I mean memberstack may could include it in the api call.
