Submit form and send response back to the user Answered
Hello all, I am seeking a solution as my client requests a feature to be integrated into their Webflow website. They are looking to have a feature to allow users to apply for Grant Funding using the following steps:
-
User submits a web form on their website
-
This form is sent to the clients’ email and a decision is made if it will be approved
-
That decision is sent back to the user automatically without a manual email.
Is this something that Memberstack can achieve into Webflow?

Hi David,
Memberstack primarily focuses on user authentication and membership management, however, you can achieve the desired functionality by combining Memberstack with other tools and services. Here's how you can set it up:
Proposed Solution
1. Form Submission:
- Create the grant funding application signup form. This allows users to submit their applications directly on the website.
2. Email Notifications:
- When the form is submitted, you can set up a third-party service like Make or Zapier Integration to send the form data to your client's email.
3. Decision Making:
- After the client reviews the application, they can make a decision regarding approval.
4. Automated Response:
- To send an automated response back to the user without manual intervention, you can use Zapier or Make. Here's how:
- Set up a Scenario or Zap that triggers when a new form submission is received. You can then create a step that sends an email back to the user based on the decision made by the client.
- If the decision is made in a structured way (e.g., using a specific email template or a Google Sheet to track decisions), you can set up conditional logic in the tool to send different emails based on the approval status.
If you need further assistance, feel free to ask! 😊
