Hey, everybody. Just started the migration from MS 1.0 to 2.0, and I have a quick question. How can I export member JSON data in member export CSV?

Hey Eduardo Matos, I believe the feature to export member JSON is currently in wishlist.

Please make sure you check this wishlist and add a comment to share why this feature could be crucial or upvote so that the team will get notified regarding it as well.

This is only for CSV though, in case you have limited users or enough bandwidth to spend some operations on automation, you could attempt at pushing the JSON to the new members based via Zapier in case JSON data is very crucial for the members.

Hey A J, thanks for the reply.

Hmm, so the member JSON in MS 1.0 is accessible via Zapier?

Yes, I was not sure if 1.0 had the integration feature for Make / Zapier, but went through this comparison table and it turns out although Make does not work with 1.0, Zapier can be used with both 1.0 and 2.0

Nice! But the JSON is accessible with the native MS action in Zapier? Or I need to create a zapier webhook action?

context: I am migrating a big project from MS 1.0 to 2.0, and 98% of the users (around 900) have important JSON data that we need to import

with native MS action in Zapier I was only able to get these info (JSON not included) ☚ī¸

Eduardo Matos, could you try using 'Find Member' action for this? I tested this with my 2.0 account and Zapier and I am able to fetch the Member JSON using that action as shown in screenshot below.

I was not able to test this with 1.0 since I don't have an account in that version, but I am hoping & wondering if Memberstack's Find Member action would provide you the same results.

Unfortunately the Find Member action is only available for MS 2.0, since the MS 2.0 have a different app connection. While using the MS 1.0 app connection I don't have the Find Member action available 😞

This is what happens when I try to use MS 2.0 app connection with MS 1.0 api key

    Oh no 😔

Duncan Hamra, do you think there is a workaround to bulk access the JSON for members on 1.0 like via developer API or any other workaround in this case?

I am not able to personally test the possibilities since I don't have a 1.0 account, but wanted to check with you if you have any idea to solve this 🤔

A J I was also wondering if it's possible for you with Memberstack team access to export the members from our account with JSON, do you think it's an option?

Hey A J Duncan Hamra, sorry to bother, but is there something you can do to help us with this situation?

We have this week as deadline to finish the MS 2.0 migration, so it's really important for us to know if the JSON data in the csv is a reality.

Hey Eduardo Matos, I unfortunately don't have access rights to the back-end system to test this out personally. But Memberstack Team may request access to it in case there is a solution to this.

In the meantime, I am additionally tagging Josh Lopez Chukwudi Onyekwere, hoping to see if they can help solve this or if they have any workaround ideas as well.

Josh Lopez or Tyler Bell might be able to help us get that data for you! I'll start a DM with both of them. Thanks AJ!
