Help! Memberstack doesn't detect only the 'data-ms-passwordless-button' attribute Answered

Hi!

I'm setting up passwordless auth. In X-ray mode memberstack detects the form and input fields correctly. For the button however, Memberstack Only detects the 'wrong' attributes.

According to the documentation:

data-ms-passwordless-button="YOUR_TEXT" on the form submit button. The second half of the attribute (inside the "") will replace the button text once a valid email has been entered.

So I need to put I need to put data-ms-passwordless-button="YOUR_TEXT" on the button. As said, Memberstack detects everything BUT the right attribute. I've made the form simpler to troubleshoot.

Example where I have data-ms-passwordless-button="Confirm" (this is the right attribute according to the documentation). The button is NOT detected.

Example where I have data-ms-form="login" (this is a totally different attribute, but it IS being detected by the X-ray).

Literally the only thing I've changed in between these examples is the attribute name and value. The attribute name is definitely the culprit, as I've also tried keeping the value the same, only changing the name.

Even Rey (Memberstacks AI) thinks this behavior is unusual. Why is this happening? Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks!

    Hi Elias,

    Thank you for considering Memberstack.

I've already sent you a response to the ticket you submitted earlier. We found out that Memberstack doesn't support Framer due to how it interacts with React and how Framer adds code after Memberstack's script is loaded. However, I did some research and found this article that outlines some alternative solutions that should be compatible with Framer. It might give you some ideas for moving forward.

    Hey Elias null

Thank you for posting. You should be able to see the data attribute. What is your url so we can take a look?
