Incorrect Membership Counts Completed
Hi, I'm having an issue where the test-mode and live-mode membership counts is incorrect. When switching to test-mode and click the plans tab, the number of active users for each subscription is the same as the live-mode.
Also, if a user cancel their plan, the membership count doesn't get update and the plans tag doesn't get removed.

Hey Chukwudi Onyekwere
Is this a feature request or a bug?
I believe it’s a mix of both. Henry reported a similar bug on Slack, but the issue in the video—where inactive members are still listed—feels more like a feature request to me rather than a bug because, technically, inactive members are still part of the group, so maybe adding a badge to differentiate them would help. However, I can report it as a bug if that's a preferred approach.

Hi both, could you clarify which issue is a bug and whether it can be fixed? Are you referring to the member count discrepancy when switching between Test Mode on and off?
Regarding the feature request: Is it possible to remove the membership tag manually from Stripe or can I do it with Zapier? If so, could you guide me on how to do that? When I click on a canceled plan under the "Plans and Permissions" tab, I see the following message: "Paid plans are editable in Stripe. Click below to view, update, or cancel this member’s plan." (screenshot attached).
Thank you!
I believe the member count has been fixed. The inactive members showing can be adjusted by using the member filter.

Thank you for posting. Can you tell me more about "Regarding the feature request: Is it possible to remove the membership tag manually from Stripe or can I do it with Zapier? If so, could you guide me on how to do that?". I dont understand what membership tag you are referring to.
Hi Josh,
I think it’s best if I record another video to clarify what I want to achieve.
I’m currently out of the office, but I’ll send you the video later today.
Thank you,
Hi Josh,
Thank you for your patience.
Here is a link to a video showing what I'm trying to achieve: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/parsjgey28mi455v39c9x/Memberstack.mov?rlkey=dh3jn14yiytfwyn46cxld1yds&st=v2mbnre9&dl=0
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!
Ah thank you Armando Ascione for clarifying. We have updated a few things in the dashboard and I have added your suggestions to the team slack so we can discuss. I like the idea of having only active plans being showed. I am updating the docs right now for the plans page because its only showing live mode plan numbers now.
I just spoke to the development team. They loved your idea about only showing live member counts on the plans page and are working on it now. I dont have an eta when the fix will be pushed though. I also updated this help center article to include additional info about only showing live mode numbers. Thank you again for your input.
Hey Josh, it’s great to hear that the dev team loved my input and is working on it. Hopefully, it’ll be just a matter of a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’ll use the filtering feature to check how many active users are subscribed to the website.
Best Regards,
Good news! Member counts on the plans page should show live members only now. :)
