How to justify switching from Wild Apricot to Memberstack for a WordPress site with no existing Stripe customers?

Hi - I have a board meeting Monday morning and hoping to switch from wild apricot to memberstack. do you have a comparison chart or can you supply me with the reasons to make the switch!!! I know its the right move but I”m dealing with old people and I need a compelling argument.

We are migrating from wordpress and looking to migrate users from apricot to Memberstack. There aren't any paying customers in Stripe.

Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it! We only have less than 1K users… and I want to get out of this platform. So if there is any possible pros / cons I would appreciate it. We need to move into the 21st century.

couldn’t we download into a csv and then reupload into memberstack?

Yes! But we can’t import in existing credit card details.

well they would need to have a new login etc anyways when we do the migration and whole new site…

so they would just have to import themselves, no? or update it?

bc if we kept wildapricot, then we would have to pay for both memberstack and WA until this all happens which could be forever. and we are a non profit…

    We currently use AffiniPay

That would depend on what you want to do.

You could not import anyone and have them signup again via the new website.

    OR

You could import your existing users and assign a temporary password -> Then send an email along the lines of “We’ve migrated to a new service, your temp password is blank. Please sign in here and update your password, etc.”

and also have them update their payment info.
