How to create gated content in Memberstack using Airtable CMS integration despite missing API documentation? Planned
Hi,
I will create a new CMS item by Airtable. I want to connect Airtable with Memberstack to create Gate Content (https://www.memberstack.com/features/gate-content). Is it possible? I can't see it on API Docs.

Hi Maciej Kukulka 👋
It's not possible to create a new gated content element in Memberstack via the API.Â
How does the gated content get unlocked? I wonder if you might be able to gated all of the pages inside of the same CMS folder automatically. Then there would not be a need to gate each page individually.Â
I am not sure if I understand correctly.
I have a training site. The trainings are built on an ongoing basis. Each new training needs to have users added. Some users will only have access to this one, others to multiple trainings.
How do I automate this so that the client can generate the trainings themselves and can manage access to each of them separately?
Sorry for the delay! This one slipped by me.Â
Have you seen this video yet? https://youtu.be/ybQ4ST8OLD4?si=kEK8l0rK-BYCF_lx&t=39
Starting at 39 seconds I discuss how to gate access to a "folder" which means all of the pages inside of that folder are grouped together. If you grant access to the folder then you grant access to all current (and future) pages.Â

Hi Duncan,
I have seen your video and I have the impression that we do not understand each other ;)
The problem is that I have several programs and I create new ones on Webflow or Airtable.Â
For example:
- Andrew has access to Programme 1 and Programme 3,
- Jessica has access to Programme 2
- Patrick does not have access to any programme
I create a new program (Programme 4) in Webflow or in Airtable. I want to, via the API, invite Patrick to create an account on the site and give him access ONLY to the new Program 4 without having to visit memberstack.com. I want to set Gated Content via the API (e.g. from make.com).
Is this feasible?
Ahhhh yup, I see now. Thanks for explaining again.
I might be missing something... but I don't see a way to automate this in the way you're describing. I'm pretty sure your client will need to visit the Memberstack website to created some new gated content and then to grant access to that content via a plan.
Each programme will need its own plan + gated content.Â

Exactly as you write. Pity. I wanted to fully automate the process on the Webflow or Airtable side.
