Customise Memberstack (passwordless) Modals Planned

Hi there,

I understand there is little flexibility to customise the pre-built default modals. However it would be really nice (since they're really great) to be able to customise some basic options like font, and perhaps border radius etc. just to match the absolute basic style of your site.

Cheers

Hi Andrew 👋 Thanks for the kind words and reasonable request! Let me check with the team and see if this is something we might be able to drop in the roadmap.

In the meantime, you can update the font by updating the font-family of your site <body>. It will inherit that font (and maybe the font size too... I should test to confirm).

Cheers, all! Two things. One compliment. One question.

    1. I really do appreciate the Memberstack team and what you all have created. I'm not sure if you know how valuable you are to startup founders like me, who aren't mainly tech savvy, have ultra small teams, and very, very little bandwidth to spare. It REALLY does mean a lot!
    2. My company's website uses Passwordless Login from Memberstack, and I'm about to implement the new Commenting (section cards) cloneable. I need the login and signup to serve up a passwordless modal, instead of the standard login/signup. Can someone help me out with how to make that happen? Much, much appreciated!

Hey Doc Waller I believe these 2 modals will help in your use-case.

    1. Signup - https://www.memberstack.com/webflow/passwordless-signup-modal
    2. Login - https://www.memberstack.com/webflow/passwordless-login-modal

Hey A J - correct! I looked into these, but are they implemented the same way with Comments?? I cloned the Comment site, and ONLY see buttons, not actual modals or hidden DIVS. I just need to know how to install/use these with the Comment component I mentioned.

I believe I found the answer! The Comments are using the prebuilt UI, so all I had to do is turn this option on in settings/auth providers to make passwordless the default.

Yes I believe modals can be linked to buttons manually as well.
    Glad the default settings worked!
