How to create user accounts with game tokens that automatically decrease when redeemed?

Hi together,

I am currently creating a website for a startup from the soccer business. Here you should be able to buy the games on the site. The user should be able to create an account with which he can buy 1 game or a package with 5 games.
Is it possible to make this so that when the user redeems the games, one game is removed from his account? Gladly something like this can also be solved with tokens.

Would be happy to get feedback from you here. I will be happy to answer any questions.

greetings
luca

Hey Luca 👋 First off, awesome! Can’t wait to see the site 😀

2nd, you’re correct that some sort of “token” system will be required. I don’t think we have a fully documented solution at this time, but I believe it’s going to require Member metadata and make to keep it secure.

How will a user “redeem” a game?

    Thank you for your answer!

We would adjust the redemption to the system. What is possible here.

If it is not possible otherwise, we can also go a manual way.

Do you have any idea about this?

    You’re most welcome!

Can you explain step-by-step how the game is redeemed? I.e.

    1. User goes to site
    2. Buys 5 game tokens
    3. Submits a form to redeem a game
    4. User now has 4 game tokens

    Yes, here the flow:

    1. User goes to site
    2. Create Account
    3. Buys 5 games and can sign up to 5 Games
    4. Games are list in a CMS and he can fill out a form for this game
    5. in best case user lose automatically 1 token
    6. as second way the admin can delete 1 token in the account

    do you understand it?

Hi Duncan Hamra  do you have a idea for this?

Hey Luca Heuchert I’m working on a generic token system + tutorial now. I hope to finish it tomorrow 🤞 you can test it out here https://tokens.webflow.io/

    Hey Kirils 👋

It looks like the member id is mapped incorrectly. Can you confirm that the member id is being pulled from the "get member" step?

There's also a chance you're mixing live mode and test mode here. Double chat that each step is connected to the same project in Memberstack.
