How to create a CMS with different collection list items accessible by free or paid plans using a custom "Paid Content" field? Answered
I saw similar posts - but nothing that really answers my question.
I wanted to know if there is a way to create plans, that have access to different Collection List items within the same CMS list.
Meaning, I would like to have a single CMS - all the articles, in a single place. But, to be able to define for each Collection List Item - if it is accessible to Free or Paid plan (or both). Maybe adding a Switch of "Paid Content" in one of the custom fields.
Can this be done? would be so awesome, instead of having to build several CMS and maintain all of them in different places.
Thanks in advance
Dori

Hey Dori Fussmann I think you may actually be able to do this using custom attributes in the CMS. See this article from webflow: https://webflow.com/feature/use-cms-data-in-custom-attributes
You would need at least two plans, "Free Plan" and "Paid Plan" and then you could apply the data-ms-content ="free-plan" or "paid-plan" using the field from the specific blog post.
I've never tried this since the dynamic cms attributes is really new to webflow but this could be just the thing you need to make your project work. Good luck!
+1 to what John said 🥳
I'll also drop a link to a similar thread. The pinned comment may help. https://docs.memberstack.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/16762591316507-Gated-Content-within-Webflow-CMS-Collections
