How to offer free GPT completions and then gate access to premium features?

Is there a way to set a number of free actions for a user before they lose access to features? I'm looking at doing a GPT integration and want to give the first five prompt completions for free to the user, but then want to gate them after that.

    Hey Jonathan!

There are a few ways to do this which I can think of - do you have a read only link handy so I can figure out the best way to do it for your project?

Just in case anyone else wants to do this:

Julian Galluzzo love your templates mate! For latest AI template, does it support assistant GPTs? Does the Make scenario allow for model selection, in particular assistant GPTs?

Thank you! And if the API allows it, so does the template 😀 Even if make doesnt have that as an option yet, you can send the API call via fetch instead of make.
