How to set up single sign-on between Webflow and Circle using Memberstack's modal login? Answered
Hi everyone. Nice to meet you all. I just started using Memberstack with Webflow and Circle and love it. I have a question about autologin members into both Webflow and Circle. If I was to use the Memberstack modal log in will Members be logged into both the SSO and the Webflow site?

great question! The members would have to login twice because the cookies we add on signup are domain specific meaning if the member logs into abc.com they would need to log in again to cba.com
Hi Josh I found something interesting on Circle.so Direct your members to this clickable link formatted when they first create an account (instead of your regular home page): [INSTERT COMMUNITY URL]?automatic_login=true
✅ Step 2
Turn off “Allow members with a Circle account to sign in” in Settings → SSO
✅ Step 3 [Optional]
Choose if you want them to skip profile set up as well in Settings → SSO (members can always adjust their profile by clicking on Photo → Edit Profile)
But I m not sure how to get it to work and if that is a solution
Ive never heard of that before. Would that also allow for anyone with the link to get in circle without a Memberstack plan?
Im not sure I just seen it going trough their site. I m setting up an event site in webflow where atendees can comment using circle. Ideally they would log in once but I understand the cookie problem
Just adding a comment for a reminder. Please keep us updated! I would love to hear more about it if you get it working 😀
Would also be super keen to see if this works - requiring members to sign in twice is not ideal, so it would be great if this worked.
I ve tried it and it does not work members still need to sign in twice. If I go for Wordpress instead of Circle I assume I will just add the second site as another website and because both Webflow and Wordpress use the modal users are logged into both sites? that is because I m not going trough the SSO API? I hope I m correct

Is the a limit on the number of SSO connections we can create?
There is no limit.
