Also, when setting up a Webflow site at sub.domain.com and also using SSO through MemberStack, should I setup the DNS settings for sub.domain.com for Webflow (so the site loads there) and then pick something different like sso.domain.com for the MemberStack DNS settings to allow for proper handling of the Google SSO authentication?
The authentication subdomain is separate than the domain your using, so yeah, you can try using sso, or auth CNAME and point your DNS records to Memberstack
