Importing members from CVS added to Webflow collection with Zappier Answered

Hi everyone,

I m not sure what the best way to do this.

I have a long CVS list of users that I can import into Memberstack without a problem. But when importing it does not trigger the New Member Added Zap so the imported members are not added to a webflow collection.

I can import the members directly into Webflow but than how do I copy the collection id into the Memberstack custom field?

Because I have user profile images and I need to reference the webflow ID.

What would the best flow be?

Many thanks in advance

Nicolae

    Hey Duncan

Thank you for getting back to me. I think so, too but is not triggering in test mode at least. No members are added to the Webflow only to the Memberstack. I have made the CVS with the custom profile fields. What I did I first exported a CVS list of the test members and I edited that.

I have just tested again. in Zappier I have:

    1. New member added in Memberstack

    2. New live item added webflow

    3. Update members in memberstack

    4. Add info to airtable

The imported users are not being added to webflow.

I m not sure why. And I looked at Zappier history nothing gets triggered on import.

    Thank you

Could it be that I created the Zappier with the test member?

Sorry I did not realise that changing to live mode you have to update you API secret in Zappier.

A bit of a pain having lots of Zapps Webflow / Airtable / Circle / Upload Care but I went trough one by one, retest it each step and now it all works.

I hope above will help anyone else in the same situation and thank you Duncan.

    Hey Nicolae 👋

Are you 100% sure it doesn't trigger the new member trigger? I believe it's supposed to 🤔

Ooo perfect!! Yes, that has tripped me up a few times as well. It's one of those things that's necessary for test mode and is a bit of a pain to swap over when it's time to go live. Luckily it's only a one-time thing.

Thanks again for posting the question and for updating the thread. I guarantee you just saved multiple people some time. 🙏
