[Wishlist] Resubscribe / Un-cancel button Completed

[This post was migrated from our old community roadmap]

1) The problem → Is there any reason why my members cannot re-subscribe when they cancel their membership? It seems like we are all missing out on opportunities here.

2) Why is this important → Well, you might have canceled your membership by mistake, or even if you canceled, after few days you might want to resubscribe again, but you cannot, it says that it’s canceled and membership is valid until [expiration date] .

3) What's your plan B → Manually and immediately cancel their plan in Stripe so they can unsubscribe via the pop-up modal.

4) Possible solutions we could build for you → A button that lets members re-subscribe after cancelling.

This feature is finished and documented here. The "Renew" button is visible in the Stripe billing portal after a member cancels and before their subscription officially ends.

If a user cancels we've been manually moving them to a free default plan, this plan doesn't provide the user access to anything but a signup page. When a user on the default plan logs in next they are pushed to a signup page with the latest membership options and maybe a compelling discount...

If members were automatically moved to a specific plan on cancelation then it would remove the manual step above and I think solve for the ultimate goal you have here...

Tim: Hey Tim! I just realized I made an important typo in part #4. I just changed it from "unsubscribe" to "resubscribe". But I see what you're saying 👍

And I could see where it might be nice to link to other pricing options instead of only letting someone resubscribe. This is something we should be able to allow for
