Transfer your Memberstack 1.0 Subscription to 2.0

This article will outline the steps required to A) keep your current 1.0 subscription or B) Switch to one of our new 2.0 plans. 

Keep your Existing Subscription

If you're on one of our "grandfathered" pricing plans, this process will allow you to keep your current plan. 

  1. Navigate to the billing page in 2.0.
  2. Click any of the "Activate" buttons to launch the checkout. (This will create a Stripe customer which we can access on our end).

  3. Navigate back to the billing page
    1. Fill out the template below and send it via the support chat widget. 
      "1) Which plan would you like?
              YOUR_PLAN

      2) Monthly or Yearly?
            MONTHLY-YEARLY

      3) Have you already completed steps 1-3?
            YES-NO
  4. We will email you a Stripe invoice for your new plan. Once you enter your credit card details to pay for that plan, your account will be active 🎉
  5. After successfully migrating to 2.0, head back over to 1.0 and cancel your subscription. In the cancellation reason box, please say "Migrating to Memberstack 2.0."
  6. Last, if you would like to carry over unused time on your 1.0 subscription, send us one more message in the chat. You can say "I have migrated to 2.0, and would like a credit on my new account."
  7. We will apply the credit ASAP. 

Switch to a New Subscription

  1. Navigate to the billing page in 2.0.
  2. Select the plan you want and complete the checkout.

  3. Head back over to 1.0 and cancel your subscription. In the cancellation reason box, please say  "Migrating to Memberstack 2.0"
  4. Last, if you would like to carry over unused time on your 1.0 subscription, send us one more message in the chat. You can say "I have migrated to 2.0, and would like a credit on my new account."
  5. We will apply the credit ASAP.
